Tips on how you can transform your Energy to Transform your Life!

Posted On Sep 07, 2022 |

As we work to create a life that we love and are aligned with our values, there are shifts that we can make to reach our greatest potential.

Some of these shifts could be related to our businesses and some could be related to other areas of your life; relationships, health, financial security, or mastering a new skill. The possibilities of a transformed life are endless.

Imagine seeing yourself in a whole new light and engaging with the world in a way that is more authentic and aligned with who you really are. You can co-create the reality you want for yourself, instead of feeling trapped by circumstances outside of your control.
So how do you make these shifts?
  • Change how you think about or view yourself. See yourself capable of more than you ever thought possible, and begin to see your unlimited potential in new ways!
  • Practice the growth mindset. to give you a sense of control over your circumstances. See challenges as something to overcome, rather than a “bad thing” that happens. Understand that by shifting your mindset about how you view yourself and the world, you can create the reality you want to live in!
Life is a journey. And, like all journeys, it's filled with endless opportunities to transform.
When we get stuck with obstacles we face in life (a relationship ending, losing a job, a financial hardship), it usually means our beliefs are being challenged.
Here Are a Few Tips on How To Transform Your Energy To Transform Your Life.

Physical

Physical energy is the most important type of energy. It’s the first to be used up each day when we move or rest. Moving or resting are both ways to keep our body functioning well and avoid exhaustion, but breathing and eating are even more important because they are the top two aspects of physical energy.

We can go without eating, moving, or sleeping for periods of time, but we cannot go without breathing. Yet many people take breathing for granted and do not consciously manage their breathing habits. Deep-focused breathing can lower stress in as little as 60 seconds. Inhale and exhale slowly, holding your breath while you do so.

When you feel stressed, you may breathe shallowly and quickly which raises your cortisol levels. Deep in-and-out breathing can help restore energy and calm your mind. The 4-7-8 method of breathing developed by Dr. Andrew Weil for relaxation and meditation can be practiced anytime, anywhere:
  • To practice this method (called tongue breathing), place your tongue behind your upper front two teeth and breathe in through your nose for a count of four.
  • Hold for a count of seven, then exhale through your mouth for a count of eight.
  • Hold for a count of seven, then exhale through your mouth for a count of eight.
  • Repeat this cycle three times for a total of four cycles per session.
Food provides energy, and the goal is to focus on foods that sustain your energy so that you can turn your focus to other things for the next few hours.

  • It is important to drink water throughout the day in order to maintain an adequate hydration level. Even mild dehydration could leave your body and mind less energetic.
  • Eating carbohydrates, protein, and fat—mostly in the form of vegetables and fruits—combined with one another give you the energy needed to complete a day's work. A glazed doughnut gives you quick energy then quickly crashes shortly thereafter, whereas a piece of fruit can keep you going for hours. When that happens, enjoy it to the fullest.
  • To maintain a healthy balance of energy and to achieve optimum results, keep a log for one week noting the foods eaten and how you felt after as well as when to use what strategies.
Mental
The brain is a critical organ in the human body. It consumes 20 percent of your body weight in oxygen and calories, but only uses 2 percent of blood and oxygen for its function. Despite its modest size, it’s capable of creating thoughts and actions.

The brain is complex; it has two fundamentally different modes of thinking. Focused thinking is the most familiar mode, but elusive and difficult to feel in today’s world. Diffused thinking allows room for creativity, but it can be tricky to find the time for both focused and diffused thinking.

Focused thinking mode can be used to solve problems or challenges. It involves focusing on a certain task and then changing your focus to another part of the same problem, allowing you to work out any kinks in your brain's pathways. Here are some tips for setting yourself up for success:
  • First, get rid of the clutter in your brain by writing it down on paper. Then simplify and prioritize your tasks. This is your to-do list that will never be completed.
  • Prioritize your priorities, ignoring all that you could do and focusing on what you want to do, these are things that are moving you forward towards a goal or project that is important to you. This becomes your success list, which will get you where you want to go in life.
Diffused thinking mode is for creating creative solutions by thinking outside of the box. You can achieve this state by planning time in your day for activities that put your brain in a neural resting state, such as:

  • Nature walking
  • Listening to music
  • Taking a warm shower or bath
  • Playing with your pets
  • Breathing with the 4-7-8 method
When you spend one hour focused, you have four hours of distracted attention. And if you can find a way to focus for an hour each day, then you will create more space and energy for the creative diffused mode to blossom.

Spirit
When you first fell in love, your energy for your new relationship was so high that even though you gave little thought to many things besides it, including eating, sleeping, or even breathing, you were still able to give 100 percent of yourself to your love.

Love can be compared to magic energy, but it fades quickly in real life. The purpose you set in life is a source of both energy and inspiration. It does not fade; instead, it can be used to explore new ways of thinking, new paths to take, and new outcomes to achieve. What value do you place on your life? How committed are you to living a more fulfilling one?

Creating a life of purpose is the most powerful and energetic way to live. To accomplish this, be clear about your top five values in life and make sure that your success list aligns with what is most important to you. The greatest energy source ever discovered is the human spirit. When you love yourself enough, you create the life that you desire. In the words of famous inventor and physicist Nikola Tesla, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”
  • Live a full and satisfying life
  • Experience happiness despite life’s challenges
  • Give and receive affection, gifts, and money with ease
  • Feel creative and inspired
  • Take full advantage of and enjoy new opportunities that come your way
  • Create memorable and meaningful life experiences
  • Feel secure and confident in your life ventures and create successful outcomes
